Descriptions:

Girls 5/6 Basketball:

This camp is intended for incoming 5th and 6th grade ladies who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of basketball. You can expect your scholar to gain confidence in dribbling, passing, shooting, while learning the rules of the game.

Girls 7-9 Basketball:

This camp is intended for incoming 7th through 9th grade ladies who are interested in learning and further practicing the fundamentals of basketball. You can expect your scholar to develop their skills further in dribbling, passing, shooting, while learning offensive and defensive strategies to help them for try-outs this coming winter. This camp is not a pre-requisite for students to try-out for the school team but will aid them in being prepared.

Boys 5-6 Flag Football:

This camp is intended for incoming 5th and 6th grade young men who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of flag football. You can expect your scholar to gain confidence in throwing, catching, speed and agility, while learning the rules and positions of the game.

Boys 7-9 Flag Football:

This camp is intended for incoming 7th through 9th grade young men who are interested in continuing to learn and practicing the fundamentals of flag football. In addition to growing in the sport skills necessary for football, you can expect your scholar to learn offensive plays and defensive strategies to help them for try-outs this coming fall. This camp is not a pre-requisite for students to try-out for the school team but will aid them in being prepared.

Girls 5/6 Volleyball:

This camp is intended for incoming 5th and 6th grade ladies who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of volleyball. You can expect your scholar to gain confidence in bumping, setting, hitting, and learning the rules of the game including rotation.

Girls 7-9 Volleyball:

This camp is intended for incoming 7th through 9th grade ladies who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of volleyball. You can expect your scholar to further progress their skills in bumping, setting, hitting, and learn the necessary strategies to help them find success at the middle school level. This camp is not a pre-requisite for students to try-out for the school team but will aid them in being prepared.

Boys 5/6 Basketball:

This camp is intended for incoming 6th through 9th grade ladies who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of softball. You can expect your scholar to learn and progress their skills in hitting, fielding, and learn the necessary strategies to help them find success at the middle and high school levels. This camp is not a pre-requisite for students to try-out for the school team but will aid them in being prepared.

9th Grade XC Camp

This camp is a two-week camp, with the first week being set aside solely for incoming 9th grades. The second week will be alongside the middle school team. Scholars can expect to lay down the foundation for the endurance they will need to be successful in their fall cross country season. In addition, runners will learn various recovery techniques necessary, and a portion of the camp is dedicated to leadership training.

6th – 9th Grade XC Camp

This camp is for both middle and high school scholars who are interested in learning the sport of cross county. Scholars can expect to lay down the foundation for the endurance they will need to be successful in their fall cross country season, while learning about various recovery techniques necessary to stay healthy during the season.

5/6 Soccer:

This camp is intended for incoming 5th and 6th grade ladies and gentlemen who are interested in learning and practicing the fundamentals of soccer. You can expect your scholar to gain confidence in dribbling, passing, shooting, while learning the rules of the game.

7-9 Soccer:

This camp is intended for incoming 7th through 9th grade ladies and gentlemen who are interested in learning and further practicing the fundamentals of soccer. You can expect your scholar to develop their skills further in dribbling, passing, shooting, while learning offensive and defensive strategies to help them for try-outs this coming school year. This camp is not a pre-requisite for students to try-out for the school team but will aid them in being prepared.

Strength & Conditioning:

This is a 4-week camp open to 6th – 9th graders. Students can expect to learn the fundamental movement patterns of squat, hinge, push and pull and gain knowledge of working out safely in a weight room. Two days a week will be reserved for speed and agility, where students will develop their acceleration and top speed. This camp is open to athletes, and those interested in just learning about lifting.
